The Lean Six Sigma team within Perfact continues to grow. On 1 May, Marco Kuiper has joined the team as a Black Belt specialist, focusing on process optimisation and LCS accredited training. Let’s introduce him to you in more detail:

Marco has joined the ‘Perfact family’ as Project Lead (Black Belt). He immediately started as a lean and six sigma specialist at one of our clients, Gemeente Sittard-Geleen (our municipality). Here he is working on a Lean Six Sigma project to optimise the processes within the Permits and Supervision & Enforcement department.

“Working at Perfact feels like coming home. That comes as no surprise, as I was born and raised in Oud-Geleen; Perfact’s head office is literally around the corner. In the short time that I have been with Perfact so far, I have learned that they are both social and professional. Whereas their approach is focused on the people, they carry out their work professionally and with knowledge”.

“At Perfact, everything comes together for me. The combination of implementing or supervising improvement projects for clients and providing Lean Six Sigma training courses for the Perfact Lean Academy speaks to me.  An important aspect to me is the high quality of the training courses offered in combination with the philosophy of offering Lean and Six Sigma (Green belt courses) as separate training courses. I have followed both improvement methods myself as separate training courses. The depth of knowledge you gain during these courses is much higher and substantively better than when you follow a combined Lean Six Sigma training. I also noticed this during the years that I worked with people who had followed the combined Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt). They often needed more in-depth training and guidance to get to the right level. That is why I am convinced that the people trained by Perfact’s Lean Academy certainly have the depth and level of training that can be expected from the relevant Belt”.

Over the past 30 years Marco has gained experience in various sectors and has worked for many leading organisations, such as Medtronic, Philips, Eagle Simrax, Trento Engineering and Vynova. The positions varied from Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, Operational Excellence to Consultancy. From the start of his career, Marco was introduced to Lean and Six Sigma and was subsequently trained to Six Sigma Black belt in 2006 and to Lean Professional 3 years later. The combination of the extensive work experience and the knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology fits nicely into the consultancy strategy and Lean Academy of Perfact.

“Perfact gives me energy, enthuses and motivates, something I would like to convey to the clients and people who take part in our training courses. Would you like to know more about the Perfact Lean Academy and the LCS-accredited training courses we provide? Please feel free to contact me.”
